Vehicle Model Selection
When you click the magnifying glass icon at the top of the J2534 main screen, the Device Select screen installed on the user's PC will be displayed, allowing you to select or deselect the device you want to use.
When the J2534 vehicle model selection window appears, you can select a vehicle in three ways:
1. Select the vehicle model using the Auto VIN button
2. Select the vehicle model by manually entering the model and year
3. Select the vehicle model by pressing the Previous Vehicle button (this function selects the last queried vehicle model)
When Auto VIN is selected, the ECU's chassis number is read and the vehicle information is set automatically.
When selecting manually, the user sets the vehicle model, year, engine, and system in sequence.
